Amazon Prime Recommendations

Amazon Prime, worth the £7.99 a month for prime delivery alone? Maybe. Worth it including the titles I am about to suggest? Definitely. Yes, that’s right, I am about to recommend the latest and greatest movies/tv shows currently on Amazon Prime Video which are free to watch on a paid prime membership or on a 30 day free trial.

Recommendation 1 – The Office

All 9 seasons of the Office (US version) are available to watch for free currently on Amazon Prime, that’s a total of roughly 72 hours of binge watching aka one good week off! The Office which ran between 2005 and 2013 is based upon a small paper company, a bunch of misfit workers and relevant humour that will you will understand from an office worker stand point. At the point of writing this I am currently finishing up season 8 of 9 but from what I have seen so far I know that season 9 will be a ‘doozy’. The Office is filled with some familiar faces including Steve Carell, Craig Robinson and Rashida Jones and introduces you to new faces who you will come to love over the funpact series. Admittedly season 1/2 are a bit slow starting but once you get into it you will love it and like me you might finally understand the twitter memes.

Recommendation 2 – Two and a Half Men

All 12 seasons of Two and a Half Men are available on Amazon Prime so you can start watching today. Spanning across 262 episodes that is a total of roughly 93 hours of vieiwing so you could use up a second week for that. Two and a Half Men which ran between 2003 and 2015 follows the adventure’s of Charlie Harper, played by Charlie Sheen putting up with his brother and his half wit nephew when they move in with him at his beautiful beach house whilst juggling an additction to women and alcohol. Without revealing too much there is a slight change of cast down the line but it is welcom and see’s the introduction of a familiar actor who people might love for his other work or his off screen generosity. Two and a Half Men provides raunchier comedy whilst also creating some character development, more of a late night watch for those with younger children.

Recommendation 3 – John Wick Chapter 2

What do you not do to a man who’s lost his partner? Kill his dog and then take his beautiful mustang car. John Wick follows the adventures of a trained individual who can use anything from a gun to a pencil to violently dispatch his opposition in order to get his mission done. John Wick Chapter 2 follows on from the hugely successful first film showing Keanu Reeves reprise his role as John and show how a true action fiom should be done. John Wick ticks sevral boxes including the action, character development and it will give you background before the release of John Wick:Chapter 3 – Parabellum in cinema’s May 17th.
